Volume 2, Issue 1 of the College of Education and Social Services Journal, Interdisciplinary Insights, is now available online https://www.interdisciplinaryinsights.org/issue/2096.
The journal of Saint Leo University’s College of Education and Social Service welcomes scholarly writing on criminal justice, education, human services, social work, and related fields, from differing conceptual, methodological, and substantive approaches.
“The journal became the inspiration for two interdisciplinary textbooks this year, one on ‘Interdisciplinary Approaches to Service and Therapy Animals,’ and another in progress on ‘COVID-19 and Its Impact on the Educational System,’” writes Dr. Susan Kinsella, dean of the college. “This has been a year like no other. Faculty were busy with research on such issues as ‘Race and Teaching,’ ‘Social Supports and Stress for Latina Mothers,’ ‘Job Burnout,’ ‘Using Photovoice to Engage Students,’ and ‘Student’s Knowledge of Active Shooter Safety.’ You can read more about these topics in this issue.”
