0Career Services hosts Career Week 2020, May 11-15
Students and alumni are invited to step up their networking and job search efforts—despite the pandemic—with Career Services from May 11-15. Faculty and staff are also encouraged to attend. All events are virtual and can be accessed safely and conveniently from home with a strong Internet connection. Career Week is open to all career interests, but Career Services also has partnered with the Departments of Criminal Justice and Public Safety Administration as they host their annual Criminal Justice Recruiting and Law School Fair. A virtual event this year, participating agencies include the FBI, Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA), U.S. Department of State, and more.
Join Career Services for a week of professional events created to connect students and alumni with people, information, and opportunities important to their professional development. Benefits of attendance include developing career competencies, taking advantage of remote networking opportunities, and learning about job search strategies, which will guide job seekers through the pandemic and beyond.
Everyone may attend as many event as they wish, beginning with Career Competencies & Real Life at 10 a.m., Monday, May 11, and ending with a Mock Interview Pop-Up Shop on Friday (May 15) afternoon. Schedule a 30-minute session using the Handshake Appointments tab.
