0Theology Roundtable will explore Christian faith and science
A new Theology Roundtable discussion is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday, January 22, on the topic of Christian faith and science. The one-hour, online interactive discussion will be led by Dr. Marc Pugliese, a Saint Leo theologian who lives in and works from Virginia, and instructor Thomas Poynor, who is the administrator for the Master of Arts program in theology as well as a member of the teaching faculty at University Campus. Pugliese also has a research interest in science and religion, among other areas. The two will discuss questions that have come up in contemporary society, such as whether faith and science conflict, whether belief in miracles is superstitious, and more.
Access to the discussion is free, but those interested must RSVP by sending an email to randall.woodard@saintleo.leo to request the link, with the words “Theology Roundtable” in the subject line.
