Saint Leo to celebrate Wellness Center groundbreaking on February 6
Students, faculty, staff, and alumni are invited to attend a groundbreaking ceremony for Saint Leo’s new Wellness Center at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 6. The groundbreaking will be held on the west end of campus near Benedictine Hall.
The hour-long ceremony will include remarks from several university leaders and refreshments. Be sure to join us for this historic milestone in Saint Leo University history. To attend, please RSVP to Amanda Laffin by emailing amanda.laffin@saintleo.edu.
Parking will be available in the Benedictine Hall parking lot and the adjacent field. Be sure to wear good walking shoes because the ceremony will take place on uneven ground.
Serving as a centerpiece for our contemporary and forward-leaning university, the Wellness Center will create an environment for holistic health and well-being that integrates recreation and fitness, health services, counseling services, and campus ministry. Occupying approximately 59,000 square feet of space on the west end of campus, the Wellness Center will display breathtaking views of Lake Jovita from its expansive patio and infinity-edged pool.
