0Research Hub presents session on preserving confidentiality
The next Research Insights presentation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Thursday, October 24, at the Tapia College of Business building, TECO Hall. The title is “Mum’s the Word: How to Keep Human Subject Data Confidential.” Dr. Patricia Campion will explain how to ensure that the privacy and identity of human subjects is protected in research projects through proper design. The presentation will cover the difference between anonymity and confidentiality, various types of consent, data collection tips, and data storage measures that can maximize the security of private data.
