BlueCross® BlueShield® sending new ID cards
BlueCross® BlueShield® (BCBS) is sending new ID cards to all covered ICUBA members in November. What cardholders need to know:
- Current BCBS cards will still work!
- The customer service phone number remains the same and goes straight to the Care Connected team.
- The new ID cards have a slim design and are no longer thick like a credit card.
- The only change on the card is the telephone number for Specialty Medication Benefit Management (SMBM; this is listed on the back of the card as “Buy and Bill”).

alth plan members can also download the MyHealthToolKit® app for a digital ID card accessible by phone. The app offers easy access to claims, benefits, and provider search. Learn more>>
