Get ready for Career Expo at Atlanta Education Center
In preparation for its upcoming Career Expo, the Atlanta Education Center will host a résumé writing and interview skills workshop 1 – 4 p.m., Wednesday October 16, at the center. This event is open to Saint Leo students, alumni, and the community. Saint Leo’s Atlanta Education Center is at 2450 Piedmont Road N.E., Atlanta, GA 30324.
Participants are encouraged to dress professionally and bring a copy of their résumé. This will be facilitated by Dr. Laque Perkins, assistant professor of project management, and Dr. Nicole Hawkins, assistant professor of human resources.
This workshop will equip participants with the tools to create an effective résumé, provide interview techniques that make a great first impression and helpful tips to highlight relevant skills for specific industries.
Saint Leo students, alumni, and the community also are invited to attend the Fall 2019 Career Expo from noon to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 30, at the Atlanta Education Center. Several Atlanta-based corporations will be on site to participate in this hiring event. Anyone looking for employment or networking opportunities is encouraged to attend.
