Celebrate Halloween Spooktacular at Savannah Center, donate to help hungry
Saint Leo University’s Savannah Education Center will host its Halloween Spooktacular from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, October 30, at the center, 325 W. Montgomery Crossroads, Savannah, GA 31406.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to invite students, prospective students, and friends to join in the fun. This Halloween event is free and open to the public. Guests are invited to enjoy refreshments, trick-or-treating, center tours, Saint Leo program information, games, prizes, and giveaways.
Not only is this a fun community event, but it also is a way to give back to others. Saint Leo University-Savannah is conducting a food drive to benefit America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia. Second Harvest helps feed its Savannah-area neighbors. It is a volunteer-driven nonprofit food bank and community partnering organization.
Nonperishable foods are requested. Most needed food items include peanut butter, jelly, canned meats, soups, canned vegetables such as beans, peas, and corn, canned fruit, and rice.
