Career Services invites students to meet WellCare Health Plans
Career Services has invited WellCare Health Plans, Inc. for an employer spotlight visit to promote jobs and upcoming internships on Handshake. This event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Wednesday, October 23, in the Kirk Hall lobby. Students are encouraged to meet with recruiters and learn about opportunities WellCare has available in the fields of health care management, computer science, and information technology.
Headquartered in Tampa, WellCare Health Plans, Inc. is on the Fortune 500 list and focuses primarily on providing government-sponsored managed care services to families, children, seniors, and individuals with complex medical needs primarily through Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans, as well as individuals in the Health Insurance Marketplace. WellCare serves approximately 6.3 million members nationwide as of June 2019. In addition, Career Services will conduct a video information interview with the WellCare representatives to be shared with all Saint Leo students online on Handshake. Check under the “Resource” tab.
