0Career Services invites students to meet U.S. Border Patrol
Career Services has invited the U.S. Border Patrol for an employer spotlight visit to promote opportunities at the law enforcement agency, which is part of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency. This event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Wednesday, October 30, in the Kirk Hall lobby. Students, especially those studying criminal justice, are invited to come and meet with the recruiters attending.
Border Patrol agents are focused 24/7 on securing America’s international land borders and coastal waters between ports of entry. They safeguard the American people from terrorists and their weapons, drug smugglers, and illegal entry of undocumented aliens. They exemplify U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and service to country. In addition, Career Services will conduct a video informational interview with the U.S. Border Patrol representatives to be shared with all Saint Leo students online and on Handshake. Check under the “Resources” tab. To learn more about U.S. Border Patrol, please find them under “Employers” on Handshake or you can visit their website at https://www.cbp.gov/careers. For questions, contact Career Services at (352) 588-8346 or careerservices@saintleo.edu.
