Faculty Development Day proposal deadline extended to November 11
The Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE) invites presentation and panel proposals for the January 2020 Faculty Development Day, to be held on Tuesday, January 7, at University Campus. This year’s theme is Writing Across the Curriculum, and CTLE welcomes proposals that explore topics such as interdisciplinary writing, writing to learn strategies, writing assessments, writing and technologies, inclusive writing communities, and writing and identity. Proposals should highlight the value and transferability of writing skills across multiple domains
The new submission deadline is Monday, November 11, 11:59 p.m. ET.
The format for presentations is:
- 50-minute presentation – one presenter
- 20-minute presentation – two presenters (you’ll be paired with someone with a similar topic, or you can choose a partner and submit the proposal together
- 50-minute panel presentation – three to four presenters with collaborative proposal
