Female staff invited to Women ROCK Their Finances, November 7
The Leading Up! Series will continue Thursday, November 7, with Women ROCK Their Finances: Taking Control of Your Financial Future. The workshop will be held from 8-9:30 a.m. in the Greenfelder-Denlinger Boardrooms in the Student Community Center. A continental breakfast will be served.
For those who cannot attend in person, the event will be livestreamed. All in-person and virtual attendees must RSVP for the event by October 31, by contacting WomenInSTEAM@saintleo.edu.
The series kicked off on Thursday, September 26, with Communication Strategies: Creating Opportunities to Lead Yourself and Others. The session recording is now available. The workshop begins at about the 7-minute mark. The documents used in the workshop are available through OneDrive.
Each event in the Leading Up! Series, a professional development workshop designed for female Saint Leo staff members, features a speaker who is an expert on a topic that is important for working women to master. The series also serves as a precursor to the Women in STEAM Conference. Both the series and the conference aim to empower women through skill-building and creating a supportive environment. The mission of the series is to help Saint Leo University female staff members to develop the power skills they need for success.
