Saint Leo partners with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

A new football season is around the corner, and with that, a new partnership for the university. Saint Leo University is now the exclusive educational partner of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This one-of-a-kind partnership will generate increased awareness for the university in the Tampa Bay area and throughout Florida.

As part of the partnership, Saint Leo will be featured in online, television, radio, and in-stadium promotional advertisements produced by the National Football League team. Bucs Trivia Tuesday on Instagram, Game Day Trivia in the stadium on game days, and the Military Hero presented at each home game, will also be presented by Saint Leo University, providing added exposure. In all, the partnership promotions will help the Saint Leo brand reach millions of people.

“The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are strong supporters of the local community with an incredibly large reach and following,” said Saint Leo University President Jeffrey Senese. “We are excited to partner with such an engaging, community-minded organization on efforts that will help Saint Leo expand its reach and continue to deliver on its mission.”

One added benefit of the partnership is that Saint Leo faculty, staff, and students will be able to purchase discounted tickets to Tampa Bay Buccaneer home games. More information about this will be shared in the upcoming weeks.

While the partnership presents many benefits to Saint Leo, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization will also benefit. The university has established a preferred partnership agreement with the Bucs that will offer a tuition discount to all of the organization’s staff who wish to pursue a degree at Saint Leo.

An official external launch for the partnership will be held next month. In the meantime, faculty and staff can look forward to seeing more information about the partnership on the Community news website, social media, and in the greater community.
