0Faculty are invited to Lunch and Learn and webinars
The Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence invites faculty and staff to join their colleagues for upcoming Lunch and Learn and webinar sessions. This series of short, highly-focused, faculty-led workshop sessions will help faculty learn practical strategies that they can immediately enjoy in their classrooms.
From 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, the Saint Leo University Bridge Program instructors invite colleagues to “Campus Internationalization: Classroom Strategies,” presented by Nataliya Glover, Marcela van Olphen, and Iona Sarieva. This hands-on workshop will include faculty discussions and faculty will develop specific class activities that support the internationalization of the learning process. Faculty are asked to bring printed or electronic copies of their syllabi to make this a hands-on experience. Register
From 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, faculty can join Assistant Professor of English Chris Friend to explore the differences between “mushfaking” and plagiarism, and leverage the cues/patterns in writing within your specific discipline to help improve student writing in your classroom. Faculty are asked to bring a computer, tablet, phone to make this a hands-on experience. Register
All sessions are offered in Saint Edward Hall, Room 102, or via webinar. Online registration is required, and all registrants will receive a follow-up email with the session recording and materials.
