0Accessibility Services hosts talk on autism and related disabilities
The Office of Accessibility Services will host Accommodating Students on the Spectrum in the Classroom, an informative talk from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, April 5, in TECO Hall in the Tapia College of Business building. Denise Barnes, of The Center for Autism & Related Disabilities (CARD) at the University of South Florida, will be the presenter.
CARD is a grant-funded center that provides information to individuals with autism and offers training to families and professionals. The talk is geared toward faculty members, but is open to all Saint Leo University students and employees. The session will be recorded for those unable to attend.
