New tool helps students evaluate transfer credits
The Registrar’s Office is excited to announce a new tool to assist with transfer credit evaluation.
The Transfer Evaluation System (TES) offered by CollegeSource is an additional tool to aid staff, faculty, and potential students with transfer coursework information.
TES allows anyone to explore how credits from another institution could transfer to Saint Leo University. The Evaluation Team within the Registrar’s Office has reviewed and uploaded the top 20 schools we have historically received transfer requests from into TES.
Users can easily access this information by searching a school name in the TES portal accessible at https://www.saintleo.edu/transfer-policies. The results will display if a course from that school has been previously reviewed for transfer to Saint Leo.
This information will be powerful for perspective and existing students when making enrollment decisions and creating degree completion plans. Transcripts must still go through an official evaluation to be awarded credit.
TES will continue to be updated with additional schools and courses.
