0Save the date for this year’s commencement ceremonies
Commencement is one of our university’s most prestigious events of the year. It signifies both the end and the beginning of important chapters in the lives of students and their families. For faculty and staff, commencement provides a moment to relish in their success.
In an effort to make our commencement ceremonies a memorable experience for our university community, there are several new enhancements to note for this academic year:
- One ceremony location for all Florida students. All Saint Leo students in Florida will be invited to participate in a ceremony set to take place on April 27 at the Florida State Fairgrounds. This includes University Campus, center, and online students. This new venue, along with some additional ceremony décor, will add a grand touch to our ceremonies.
- Mass and reception to take place the day before. Students and their families will be invited to come to University Campus on April 26 to attend the Baccalaureate Mass, which will be followed by reception. More details about these two events will be available closer to commencement.
- Additional center and online ceremonies set for May and June. Six ceremonies have been planned for online and center students in several central locations:
- San Diego, California – May 10
- Hampton, Virginia – May 18
- Corpus Christi, Texas – May 24
- Sumter, South Carolina – May 31
- Savannah, Georgia – June 8
- Atlanta, Georgia – June 15
The commencement application process is now open and several students have already started to apply. More information about commencement and the application process can be found at saintleo.edu/commencement.
