New, updated directory now available

Saint Leo University’s new and updated faculty and department directory launched on the university website and can now be found at saintleo.edu/directory. This is an exciting development that will enhance the way in which students and other constituents find university contact information.

The new, dynamic directory will serve as an easy-to-access source for accurate and current faculty and staff contact information. Due to its integration with Workday, information in the directory will be seamlessly updated to reflect changes to positions, new hires, and departures.

Notable features of the new directory include:

  • Name, title, email address, contact phone number, mail code, and credential where appropriate.
  • All phone numbers and email address are set up as “click to call” or “click to send” to make it easy to contact people or departments on your mobile phone with just one click.
  • People or departments can be found by either searching by department or by using the search field to search by name for someone in a specific department or across all departments.
  • Given this is a public facing directory, it’s important to note that some departments have opted to include just the contact information for the department and not the full list of all team members to avoid calls from unwanted parties.
  • Coming in October, all faculty names in the directory will link to their detailed biography page, which will be posted on the website. Two examples of the faculty biography page can be seen with Marc Pugliese, Ph.D. and Janis Prince, Ph.D.

While every attempt was made to ensure directory information was as accurate as possible, this first release will likely require some updates due to outdated data in Workday. It’s important to remember that the directory pulls all of its contact information from Workday. This means that if there are changes needed to an individual’s profile, it must first be corrected or updated in their Workday profile to accurately display in the directory.

In order to make the appropriate updates to the directory, faculty and staff should review their information in the directory and make any updates in Workday during the next 30 days. Our plan is to update the directory after 30 days and on a monthly basis going forward.
