Reminder for writers and artists: Submission deadline for Sandhill Review is near

Saint Leo University’s literary magazine, Sandhill Review, will publish work on the theme “Many Loves” in the 2018-2019 issue. Editors are eager to see your work, so please submit poetry, prose, drama, or art by Thursday, November 1.

Feel free to interpret the theme broadly. Do you have a pair of Vans that you absolutely adore? Is there a coin collection you could never part with? What about a small town in Florida that has stolen your heart? Our Modern Love theme calls for writing and artwork centered around anything that you cherish, prize, and think the world of except for humans or pets. The deciding factor for publication will be artistic originality, craftsmanship, and excellence. Send us your best works.

Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and patrons of the Sandhill Writers Retreat are invited to submit poems (two to four works); art and photography (two to four works, vertical orientation); and prose and drama (up to 750 words).

  • Email all submissions as attachments (Word documents or JPGs) to: sandhillreview@gmail.com.
  • Name your document as follows: first name_last name
