Fran Reidy recently recognized as athletic director of the year

For the third time in the six years, Saint Leo Vice President Director of Athletics Francis X. Reidy was named the Division II Under Armour Athletic Director of the Year. Fran was one of 28 athletics directors to earn the award this year from the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA). Last week, he was recognized at the official awards banquet.

The ADOY Award highlights the efforts of athletics directors at all levels for their commitment and positive contributions to student-athletes, campuses and their surrounding communities.

Under Armour is now in its 10th year of sponsoring the award and more than 220 different athletics directors have been honored with the award during that time.
