0Workday Finance to go live July 2
With the Purchasing/Cash Advance Pause now in effect, please note the following upcoming activities as we get ready to launch Workday Finance.
Workday downtime scheduled for June 23-24
During the weekend of June 23, Workday will be unavailable as the project team sets up the finance module. All Workday functionality, including time clocks, will be unavailable during this period. Managers who have employees needing to clock in/out during this downtime should send an email to Jay Derrico and copy Susan Martin with the employee name and clock-in and out times.
Mandatory Workday Finance training is live
Workday Finance training is mandatory for all university employees and accessible via the performance and development link in the Portal. Select the transcript icon from the performance and development homepage to access the assigned training.
In addition to online training, the Professional Development team will be offering follow up in-person and remote training sessions June 19 to June 29. These sessions are designed to enhance the online training materials and provide hands-on access. Please be sure to complete online training before attending these sessions as online training materials will not be covered.
In-person sessions will be conducted on weekdays, June 19 to June 29, in the Tapia School of Business building, Room 208 from 10 a.m. to noon, and 2 to 4 p.m. Please contact Noel Quiles to register for a session. Remote sessions will be conducted via Eluminate on weekdays, June 19 to June 29 from 10 a.m. to noon, and 2 to 4 p.m. Please contact Shannon Moore to register for a session.
Additional in person/remote sessions will be made available in July. The schedule for July sessions will be published in the coming weeks.
