0Congratulations to Brighter instructor prize winner Dr. Gary Metts
The Saint Leo University Faculty Enrichment Office congratulates adjunct professor Dr. Gary Metts, who is the lucky Brighter instructor prize recipient in the random drawing of instructors who completed the Brighter Instructor award tour. He received a prize bag with a Saint Leo University mug, engraved pen, and the D2L moose mascot.
As a special thanks, every Saint Leo University instructor who viewed the three tour videos (30 minutes total), completed the quick feedback survey, and earned the Brighter Instructor Award, was entered into the drawing for a prize box with exclusive swag provided by Brightspace D2L and the Saint Leo University Faculty Development & Enrichment team.
Dr. Metts is an adjunct professor for the Criminal Justice department, and he is a retired lieutenant colonel of the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina. A police officer for nearly 30 years, he also served in the U.S. Air Force as a narcotic/bomb K-9 police officer. He augmented the U.S. Secret Service in protection of Presidents Reagan and Bush for several years and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy.
The Saint Leo University Faculty Enrichment Office wishes Dr. Metts and all of our Saint Leo faculty, happy teaching and learning experiences! Thanks for making our students’ lives brighter!
