Academic Excellence Day Honorees
Academic Excellence Day was held at University Campus on April 12 to celebrate student achievement. Faculty, students, administration, and staff gathered after academic presentations, recitals, readings, and an art show to recognize students and faculty mentors selected for the following awards.
Excellence for an Academic Poster: Ekaila Lindquist for her poster on her psychological research project into certain drinking behaviors, mentored by Dr. Tammy Zacchilli.
Excellence for an Oral Presentation: Ayancy Caicedo Charris, Dean Lochte, and Cressy Louis, for their business project involving campus and community relationship, mentored by John Lax.
Club with the Highest GPA: Computer Club of SLU.
Clara McDonald Olson Scholastic Excellence Award: Andre Gilbert.

Excellence in Academic Leadership: Auston Larratta, biology: biomedical & health sciences major with chemistry minor.
