0Christmas tree lighting, blessing of manger set for November 30
Come kick off the Christmas season at the university’s annual tree lighting. The Christmas tree lighting ceremony at University Campus will take place at 6 p.m., Thursday, November 30, outside of the Student Activities Building.
Father Kyle Smith, university chaplain, will bless the Christmas tree and manger. Music and refreshments will follow.
Be sure to catch one of the four performances of “A Saint Leo Christmas,” hosted by the School of Arts and Sciences and the Department of Language Studies and the Arts. Two are scheduled for 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. the same day.
