Budget workbook distribution/training for FY18-19
On December 4, the budgeting department will send the budget workbook and a PowerPoint file to all applicable users. The budgeting staff has reached out to the vice presidents of each department for names of employees who are responsible for any departmental budgeting. This budgeting would include operating expenses, capital, student workers, part-time faculty adjuncts, strategic initiatives, and new hires for 2019. The workbook is very similar to last year’s. The PowerPoint file will give you training dates, support phone numbers, and helpful hints when working with the budget model. Our hope and goal is to make the budgeting process more streamlined and organized, and to minimize time spent on the process.
