Offer community service on Make a Difference Day—October 27
University Campus is hosting a day of community service on Make a Difference Day, Saturday, October 27. Our goal is for students, faculty, and staff to engage with our community partners on various projects. The participating nonprofits will represent a wide range of social issues including environmental, youth and education, and domestic violence.
Volunteer opportunities will be distributed the morning of Make a Difference Day on a first-come, first-serve basis. Check-in will start at 7 a.m., and volunteers will depart promptly at 8 a.m. Transportation will be provided, and teams will return at noon. Volunteers are asked to wear closed-toed shoes, and it is suggested that they bring hats, sunscreen, and reusable water bottles.
