MRE—(Military Recognition Event)—November 9
All students, faculty, and staff who are veterans are invited to join us for an MRE — a Military Recognition Event — to thank you.
Come out and join in the festivities on Thursday, November 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in The Bowl at University Campus. Please wear something to show your service pride, and enjoy a lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the designated Military Recognition tent. A Pasco County CareerSource Veteran Job Fair will be open to all veterans at Saint Leo.
Happy Veterans Day to all who have worn the uniform, and we hope to see you there!
In addition, a flag football exhibition game of Veterans vs Greeks will take place from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. during the MRE in The Bowl. If interested in playing, contact Coach Xavier Shipman at xavier.shipman@email.saintleo.edu or stop by the MRC at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, to meet him.

Veterans Day will also be celebrated at the Veterans Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 10, at University Campus. Saint Leo University honors the service of our men and women of the Armed Forces.
