Do you have questions about Workday? We have answers!

Why did Saint Leo decide to implement Workday?
University Technology Services recommended Workday, based on its success as a cloud-based solution. The Board of Trustees approved the partnership with Workday and agreed that implementing this service was a critical step in making Saint Leo systems more efficient and easy to use.

How will employees benefit from Workday?
As the system is rolled out, employees will see that many tasks will be easier—and will be all in one place. On this user-friendly platform, you’ll be able to complete and approve timecards, fill out expense reports, create a purchase order, hire new employees, and so much more! Also you’ll be able to access Workday from your desktop, tablet, or phone.

When will employees be trained to use Workday?
Employees will be trained at least 60-90 days prior to each component going live.

How soon will employees use Workday?
The Human Resources and Payroll functions of Workday will go live on January 1, 2018. The Finance and Accounting functions will go live on July 1, 2018.

Will we still need to use Colleague?
Yes, for now. Saint Leo will continue to use Colleague for student records. In the years to come, we may transfer student records to Workday, but that is part of a long-term plan.
