Thanks to all who donated to Help Heal Haiti
“Community” is one of Saint Leo University’s six core values, and giving back to the community and aiding others who are less fortunate is something that is emphasized.
Recently, the Saint Leo community came together to help those in Haiti who were affected by Hurricane Matthew. Seven large bags were stuffed with clothing, hygiene products, Band-Aids, batteries, and other donated items. In addition, $104 was raised. Saint Leo University Ministry sent the donations to the hurricane-ravaged country.
The Sigma Tau chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho sorority, the Unified Greek Council, Student Government Union, and Panhellenic Council thank the Saint Leo community and Saint Leo Ministry for making the Help Heal Haiti: United We Stand Undefeated event possible and spreading the word throughout the community.
