Feast of Immaculate Conception Masses set for Thursday
Thursday, December 8, is the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is a holy day of obligation.
Mass will be celebrated for the Saint Leo community at 10 a.m. at the Abbey Church; at noon at Saint Jude Chapel; and at 3:30 p.m. at Saint Jude Chapel.
The feast of the Immaculate Conception celebrates that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was born without the stain of original sin. From the beginning, she was “full of grace.”
