0Special War of the Worlds marathon radio broadcast
To celebrate Halloween, Saint Leo University Radio has a special treat. In a six-hour marathon broadcast, we pay tribute to the legendary 1938 War of the Worlds radio broadcast and its legacy. Those who tune in will hear the full original broadcast, plus several subsequent presentations inspired by the broadcast, and learn about the mass panic that resulted from it, as well as other interesting and exciting audio goodies.
This program is a co-production between Jake Longwell and Serena “The Radio Kid” Hanlon and airs at 6 p.m. on Monday, October 31, on Saint Leo University Radio, WLSL-92.7 FM.
