Leaders in the Industry webinar series continues, November 1
The Center for Online Learning Career Services continues in its presentation of the Leaders in the Industry webinar series. This series of interactive webinars offers students the opportunity to explore career fields with today’s working professionals.
The next webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, November 1, at 7 p.m. and features Ryan Ong, director of human resources for Travelers.
Ong oversees human capital throughout the state of Florida for the Travelers’ Business Insurance Division. Ong has spent nearly two decades of his career working for Fortune 500 organizations, including Progressive Insurance, T. Rowe Price, and QBE Insurance. He joined Travelers in 2013 in midtown Manhattan, overseeing the New York and New Jersey region.
Ong will present Company Culture: Choosing the Right Culture and Why It Matters. Come prepared to engage in a discussion about what’s important to you on your career journey, and why you may not be making the best choices to keep yourself satisfied in your career. Is money the only factor you’re considering in employment? Ong will share his professional and personal perspective on how to find the culture that’s right for you.
