The Center for Online Learning Career Services is presenting the Leaders in the Industry Webinar Series. This series of interactive webinars offers students the opportunity to explore career fields with today’s working professionals.

Career services welcomes Saint Leo alumnus Copley Gerdes ’06, current College Unit director at Northwestern Mutual for the St. Petersburg District Office. While at Saint Leo, Gerdes was a religion major and two-sport Division II athlete. His career began in sports as graduate assistant and recruiter, and later evolved into business, as business analyst with FrankCrum, Inc., and director of Special Projects at Keane, Reese, Vesely and Gerdes, P.A. Gerdes started at Northwestern Mutual as an intern, quickly rose to be recognized in the top 100 interns, and converted to a full-time Financial Representative.
Join us as Gerdes shares a valuable two-fold message: Financial Challenges Facing the Adult Learner (free! financial tips from a professional advisor) and Marketing Yourself for Your Desired Career Path (his personal story of a degree in religion to a career in financial planning).
