Top law enforcement personnel to discuss breaking the glass ceiling

Breaking the Glass Ceiling will be the topic when Saint Leo University’s Adult Education Center hosts the Criminal Justice Speaker Showcase at 7 p.m., Thursday, April 7, in TECO Hall in the School of Business building at University Campus.

Guest speakers include women in law enforcement, who have advanced in their careers or “broken the glass ceiling.”

The speakers include:

  • Chief Melanie Bevan, Bradenton Police Department, a 1997 Saint Leo graduate;
  • Major Stacey Jenkins, Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, a 2013 Saint Leo graduate and a current student in the master’s in criminal justice program;
  • Special Agent Gina (Regina) Lombardo, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives;
  • Dr. Christine Sereni-Massinger, former Pennsylvania judge and current Saint Leo associate professor of criminal justice; and
  • Chief of Forensic Science Donna Wallace, Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

This free presentation is geared for students at all levels (undergraduate and graduate) as well as anyone from the community, who is interested in a criminal justice degree and career. In addition, Saint Leo students from all disciplines are invited.
