0Summer Break parking/vehicle storage at University Campus
The Spring 2016 Semester is almost over. The Office of Campus Security and Safety advises that you do not leave your car at University Campus during the summer break, due to ongoing construction projects and the hot, humid weather. However, if you plan to park or store your car on campus during the summer, here are some things to keep in mind.
All vehicles must have a valid state-issued registration and Saint Leo parking decal to park at University Campus during the summer. Summer residents should use Lot 4, conveniently located near Apartments 1-4 or the Parking Garage during the summer. Students who are planning to store/leave their vehicles should be considerate of summer residents by not parking near Apartments 1-4, but rather in any other authorized student parking space on campus.
Note: All vehicles must be in working condition, and a windshield sunshade is highly recommended.
If you decide to store/leave a vehicle at University Campus during the summer, please follow these guidelines:
- Remove all valuables from your vehicle.
- Make sure to remove any food, drinks, liquids, and/or damp items from your vehicle as these may cause mildew/damage to your vehicle interior. Storage of personal items of any kind in your vehicle is strongly discouraged.
- Secure and lock your vehicle and remain in possession of your keys.
Please remember that any vehicle on University Campus is driven/parked at the risk of the owner. Saint Leo University assumes no liability for any damages, theft of contents, or vehicle on campus.
