Join University Ministry in Lenten Be Courageous Daily Scripture program
University Ministry invites students, faculty, and staff to prepare their hearts for the Lenten season by joining in the Diocese of St. Petersburg’s Be Courageous Daily Scripture Reflections.
Daily reflections will be sent to your email and/or phone. It’s simple! Sign up at www.dosp.org/reflection or text REFLECTION to 84576.
These reflections examine the Scripture of the day, including a question to think about in relation to your own life and a prayer intention for the day. The reflections feature a variety of writers from around the Diocese of St. Petersburg—religious sisters, priests, deacons, a monk from Saint Leo Abbey, local parishioners, and Bishop Gregory Parkes.
Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 26. The season leading to Easter is a time of self-examination and reflection, which fits with the Be Courageous Daily Scripture Reflections program.
For information about these activities, call Tiffany Fettig, campus minister, at (352) 588-8292 or (352) 588-8331 or email email@example.com. Visit University Ministry at DeChantal Hall.
