Community Outreach Committee donates to Backpacks of Hope
The Community Outreach Committee donated 65 backpacks and more than $700 worth of school supplies to Metropolitan Ministries’ annual Backpacks of Hope Drive. Support and supplies came from Faculty Services, Marketing and Enrollment, Student Advising, and Student Financial Services. The Community Outreach Committee is grateful for the generosity of its Saint Leo University peers.
Metropolitan Ministries is a 501(c)3 organization that serves poor and homeless families in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, and Polk counties in Florida.
