Saint Leo Serves – Savannah Education Center collecting items

Saint Leo University’s Savannah Education Center is collecting personal care items for the Salvation Army homeless shelter through Wednesday, October 24, as part of Saint Leo Serves.

A team of volunteers from Saint Leo University-Savannah will put together personal care bags and deliver them as well as serve breakfast at the shelter on October 27, National Make a Difference Day.

Items needed include washcloths, soaps, body washes, deodorants, toothbrushes, toothpastes, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, Vaseline, combs, and brushes.

Saint Leo hopes to provide 100 bags to the men, women, and children living in the shelter.

Personal care items may be dropped off at Saint Leo University’s Savannah Education Center, 325 W. Montgomery Crossroads, Savannah, GA 31406. The office is open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday; and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday. The office is closed on Sunday.
