Registration is underway for the Spirit of Saint Leo Golf Tournament
Registration is underway for the 17th Annual Spirit of Saint Leo Golf Tournament, which will be held Monday, April 9, at the Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club.
The four-person scramble brings together coaches, alumni, former teammates, and friends for a chance to support Saint Leo Athletics and nearly 350 student-athletes who wear the Green and Gold. All proceeds from the event will assist with scholarships, capital projects, recruiting, leadership programming, travel, and other immediate needs as prioritized by the athletic department.
“We hope our families, friends, staff, supporters, and alumni will join us for a fun day of golf on the challenging Lake Jovita course while supporting our 20 programs at the same time,” said Francis X. Reidy, Saint Leo’s director of athletics. “Come out and meet our great coaching staff and amazing student-athletes.”
The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. on the South Course, in a scramble format that allows golfers of all abilities to play in a fun and competitive setting. The tournament will also include a variety of contests out on the course.
Entry into the tournament is $200 per person, which includes 18 holes of golf, tee gifts, beverages on the course, range balls, the cart fee, pre-tournament box lunch, dinner buffet, raffle items, and hole and putting contests.
In addition to the golf tournament, dinner will be held following the tournament in the Lake Jovita clubhouse that evening. Tickets to the dinner portion alone are available for $50, providing all Saint Leo friends, fans, and alumni a chance to interact with the coaches and others from Saint Leo Athletics.
