Feast of Immaculate Conception Masses set for December 7, 8
Friday, December 8, is the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is a holy day of obligation.
There will be a Vigil Mass at 5 p.m., Thursday, December 7, in Saint Jude Chapel.
Mass will be celebrated for the Saint Leo community on Friday, December 8, at 10 a.m. at the Abbey Church, and at noon at Saint Jude Chapel.
The feast of the Immaculate Conception celebrates that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was born without the stain of original sin. From the beginning, she was “full of grace.”
