Math Circle Program resumes at University Campus

With public schools back in session, the Math Circle enrichment program has started again at University Campus. Math Circle is a free, after-school activity for middle-school students held every Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. in Lewis Hall, Room 131, under the direction of Dr. Monika Kiss, professor of mathematics. The program features hands-on and fun activities to help children enjoy mathematics. The sessions also boost childrens’ confidence in their ability to do well in mathematics. The program is open to everyone, including children of faculty and staff. Our employees are also encouraged to share this information with local friends, neighbors, childrens’ school groups, teachers, and others who may benefit.

To arrange for a child to participate, or to get more information, please email Dr. Kiss at monika.kiss@saintleo.edu with the words “Math Circle” in the subject line. Or call Dr. Kiss at (352) 588-8836.
