Pool Hours and Memberships
As an employee of Saint Leo, you and your immediate family have the benefit of a free membership to the pool.
The Saint Leo Pool will open for the summer on Monday, May 15, through Saturday, August 12. The hours will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, weather permitting.
Individual employees just need to show their Saint Leo ID cards at the front desk to use the pool.
If you need a family membership, please complete an online membership form. A family membership is considered two adults and up to four dependent children, 18 years or younger, all of whom live in your household. You have the option to add additional members for $15 per person. Once your membership application has been received and approved, membership cards will be created for your family. Family members must present their membership cards each time they use the pool, while Saint Leo employees will show their Saint Leo ID cards. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times while at the pool.
The Saint Leo Lion’s Swim School will be offering swimming lessons throughout the summer of 2017. Group swim lessons will be offered to children ranging in age and ability. An advanced swimming training lesson will also be offered to children looking to improve cardiovascular endurance and technique. There are four different classes offered based on swimming ability and swimmers can move up as their skills improve.
Group lessons will meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings starting June 5. Sessions will be two weeks in length and will run until August 4. Classes last 45 minutes and are separated by level. All lessons will be held at the Marion Bowman Aquatic Center.
Private and semi-private swim lessons will also be offered and will be schedule by appointment with the instructor.
All classes will be taught by Saint Leo University Swim Team’s Assistant Swim Coach Annie Bengry. You can register by visiting www.saintleocamps.com; then click on the link for Saint Leo swim camps. For more information, please contact Annie Bengry at email@example.com.
Extra bonus–there is a discount on the swim lessons for Saint Leo pool members.
The Fitness Center will be offering two group fitness classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings this summer: Step & Sculpt at 5 p.m. and Butts & Guts at 6 p.m. Saint Leo employees have free access to the Fitness Center and just need to show their Saint Leo ID cards to use the center and/or take classes.
For more information about any of these programs, contact Carrie Fidurko, recreation and event coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org or (352) 588-7327.
