Girls Can! Robotics Camps at University Campus this summer

Registration is now open for Saint Leo University’s Girls Can! Robotics Camps, offered to girls ages 10 to 15 at University Campus in July. The camps are an outreach activity open to the public, so employees are welcome to share this information with local family members and neighbors.

Beginner camps are offered the weeks of July 10 through July 14, and July 17 through July 21. Girls with no previous experience will learn to build small robots while working and having fun with other campers. The cost of a five-day beginners’ camp session is $180.

A three-day session for campers who have already worked with robots will be offered July 24 through July 26 at a cost of $110.

The camps are directed by Dr. Monika Kiss of the Saint Leo University mathematics faculty. For more information, email her at monika.kiss@saintleo.edu or go to the camp registration page at www.saintleocamps.com and scroll down to “Register for Saint Leo Robotics Camps.”
