A Celebration of Women’s HERstory, Wednesday, March 8

The School of Arts and Sciences and Student Activities invite you to “A Celebration of Women’s HERstory” in recognition of International Women’s Day. The event will feature poetry readings by our English students and faculty, as well as performances by the Slam Poetry Club and talented spoken-word artist Gabriela Garcia-Medina. Join us for food, fun, scholarship, and Girl Power! 

Stop in any time between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 8, in the Student Community Center Boardrooms and enjoy student art displays, performance, music, as well as scholarship and interactive student exhibits. The Slam Poetry Club performs at 4 p.m., and special guest spoken-word artist Gabriela Garcia Medina will perform at 5 p.m. 

This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome!
