Auditions are being held for the fall play, Tuesday, August 30

The Theatre Department is seeking student cast and crew members for the fall play, Women on the Move. Faculty and staff should encourage our talented students to audition at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30, in Kirk Hall, Room 209.

Women on the Move is a celebration of what it’s like to choose a life of adventure: being a Benedictine nun. With little known stories from every decade of Saint Leo’s history, the play includes some of the funniest, most exciting tales from the Benedictine Sisters of Florida, including the first nun to serve as mayor, the Running Nuns Club, and Sister Imelda, who has definite opinions about the cafeteria food. This show will be entered into the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival competition, giving participants a chance to compete nationally for awards and scholarships.

For more information, contact Alicia Corts, assistant professor of theatre, at (352) 588-7294 or alicia.corts@saintleo.edu.
