Rampf named USTFCCCA Division II National Athlete of the Week
Saint Leo junior Colett Rampf became the second Saint Leo cross country runner in as many weeks to earn U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II National Athlete of the Week, when she earned the honor last Monday. Earlier in the day, she was named the Sunshine State Conference Women’s XC Runner of the Week for the 11th time in her career. Read the complete release.

Berryhill named new Saint Leo men’s and women’s tennis coach
Chad Berryhill, who won a national championship at Tampa’s Hillsborough Community College, will become the new head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Saint Leo University. Berryhill comes to Saint Leo from Ferris State, whom he guided to the ‘final four’ of the 2016 NCAA Division II Men’s Tennis Championship. Read the complete story.

Softball student-athletes earn Easton/NFCA academic honors
A total of 12 Saint Leo softball players were tabbed as Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Scholar-Athletes for their success in the classroom during the 2015-16 academic year. The Lions also received team honors from the NFCA, after posting a 3.436 team GPA in 2015-16. Read the complete story.

Women’s cross country earned a spot in the national rankings for the first time in program history, after the Lions were ranked No. 25 in last week’s USTFCCCA Division II National Coaches Poll. Read the complete story.
