Women’s Golf completes three-peat at Old South
Saint Leo women’s golf fired a second-round score of 300 and held off a charge from Armstrong State to post a one-stroke win in the UNC Pembroke “Battle at Old South,” Sunday afternoon at the Old South Golf Links.
Kabangu lifts women’s soccer over Barry in 2OT
Arielle Kabangu scored two goals to lift the Lions over the Barry Buccaneers in a 2-1 double overtime win.
Men’s soccer hands #11 Barry first loss of the season
Saint Leo men’s soccer team defeated No. 11 Barry on the road Saturday night, 4-2, behind Marcelo Casas‘ two goals at Buccaneer field for the Lions’ first Sunshine State Conference win of the year.
Powell’s offense leads Saint Leo Volleyball to 3-0 sweep
The Saint Leo volleyball team saw junior Maddy Powell have an excellent all-around performance to help the Lions to a 3-0 sweep of the visiting Embry-Riddle Eagles on Saturday afternoon in the Marion Bowman Activities Center.
Rampf sets record in women’s XC win
Junior Colett Rampf led three Saint Leo runners to finish among the top ten in points, as the Lions seized first place among non-Division I programs at Saturday’s University of Florida Mountain Dew Invitational at UF’s Mark Bostick Golf Course. She clocked a time of 17:32.04 on the 5K challenging and slick UF course, setting a new Saint Leo record on a true 5K course.
Cheserek paces the field to win UF Mountain Dew Invite
Saint Leo freshman Ronald Cheserek crossed the finish line ahead of 206 other runners to take overall first place at the University of Florida Mountain Dew Invitational, Saturday morning at UF’s Mark Bostick Golf Course.
Three Lions earn SSC weekly honors
Volleyball’s Jamee Townsend was named Defensive Player of the Week and women’s soccer players Natalie Melillo and Julia Ortiz were tabbed as Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week respectively, when the Sunshine State Conference revealed last week’s weekly honors.
Montana steps down as Saint Leo tennis coach
