Saint Leo Athletics mourns the death of men’s golfer Griffin Clark
Saint Leo sophomore Griffin Clark, a member of the Lions’ 2016 Division II national champion men’s golf team, died in a single-vehicle car accident on Monday morning near his home in Chesterfield County, VA. Read the complete release.
Saint Leo Athletics places 112 student-athletes on Spring 2016 Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll
A total of 112 Saint Leo student-athletes in winter and spring sports teams were named to the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll for achieving a 3.20-or-better grade point average during their competitive season. Of those, 12 individuals earned a perfect 4.00 GPA. Read the complete release.
Tennis coach Chris Frusci accepts position at Baylor University
Chris Frusci, Saint Leo’s head men’s and women’s tennis coach for the past two seasons, has stepped down as head coach to accept an assistant women’s tennis coach position at Division I powerhouse Baylor University. A search for a new head tennis coach is already underway. Read the complete release.
