Four Saint Leo teams battling for national championships in Denver
Saint Leo athletics has four teams competing for national championships at the NCAA Division II National Championships Festival, this week in Denver, CO.
Men’s golf gets things started on Tuesday, May 17, with first round play at the Green Valley Ranch Golf Course, while women’s golf and men’s and women’s tennis each begin competition on Wednesday, May 18.

Adkins named NFCA All-American
Junior Stephanie Adkins was named a Third Team All-American by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA), when their All-America teams were announced last Friday. Adkins, who posted an 18-4 record in the circle with 164 strikeouts, is the sixth All-American in Saint Leo softball history. Read the complete release.
Softball places three on D2CCA All-South Region squad
Three Saint Leo softball players earned Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association All-South Region honors, following a stellar season in which the Lions finished 39-8 overall. Named to the team were Stephanie Adkins, Brooke Samios-Uy, and Alana Tabel. Read the complete release.
Sieber named 2016 Tino Martinez Award semifinalist
For the second year in a row, Saint Leo junior first baseman Troy Sieber has been named a semifinalist for the Tino Martinez Award, which goes to the Division II national player of the year. Read the complete release.
Five Saint Leo student-athletes named CoSIDA At-Large Academic All-District
Five Saint Leo student-athlete representing men’s golf, women’s golf, women’s tennis, and men’s swimming were named to the At-Large Academic All-District, as named by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). All five will now receive consideration for the Academic All-America teams, which will be announced in early June.

Summer camp and showcase dates announced for baseball and volleyball
Saint Leo offers a broad range of camps and clinics not just in the summer, but throughout the year! Men’s lacrosse is the latest to announce the date for its upcoming prospect camp.
– Men’s lacrosse to hold prospect camp on September 10, 2016.
– Baseball’s spring showcase will be coming up on May 7, 2016.
– Volleyball announced its full slate of camps for summer 2016.
– MBB head coach Vince Alexander announced the dates for his inaugural camps at Saint Leo.
