Enrollment Marketing encourages students to share their Saint Leo stories

WHAT:
The Enrollment Marketing team is working on plans to utilize testimonials more and is looking for help from faculty and staff. Student testimonials are used in the university’s signature admissions marketing piece, the Campus Viewbook, and on our campus admissions social media accounts each week. While the focus historically has been heavily on campus students, the team wants to expand the opportunities for students to share their Saint Leo experiences across all modalities. In order to make this as easy as possible, a form for interested participants to fill out and to use to upload a photo is now available. The form can be found at https://saintleo.tfaforms.net/217905.

WHY:
The viewbook is seen by nearly every prospective campus student and is part of the admissions “admit” packet. Our “Testimonial Tuesday” segment on the campus admissions Instagram account results in 5% organic engagement (since January 2023). This easily exceeds the industry standard of 1% organic engagement on Instagram and shows that prospective students love hearing about Saint Leo University from our current students.

IMPACT:
Testimonials are an extremely powerful marketing tool that may be incorporated across collateral, social media, videos, and in specialized cases, press releases. They allow for current students to share their positive Saint Leo experiences to prospective students. As we serve students across many age groups (traditional campus students and adult learners), modalities (online, education centers, and campus), and specialized audiences (military, returning students, and transfers) the university is in a unique position to utilize testimonials to reach our unique segments.
